Why Move to Sodium-Ion?

While lithium excels in density, Sodium-ion batteries offer superior safety, temperature resilience, and long-term cost stability for global industrial deployment.

Comparison vs. Traditional Storage
Feature Sodium-Ion Li-Ion (LFP) Lead Acid
Operating Range -40°C / +80°C -20°C / +60°C -15°C / +50°C
Capacity @ -20°C Excellent (>90%) ~60-70% Critical Failure
Fire Risk Safety-Critical (High) Moderate High Risk
Market Stability Stable (Predictable) Highly Volatile Stable (Predictable)
Service Life Safety-Critical (High) Safety-Critical (High) Critical Failure
*Data based on certified laboratory testing for Naionics modules.

The Cold Weather King

Lead-acid fails in sub-zero temps. Lithium requires heaters and advanced BMS. Sodium naturally retains ~90% capacity at -40°C.

Sustainability First

No Cobalt. No Lithium. Uses earth-abundant sodium. Lower environmental impact with 100% recyclable components.

Military-Grade Safety

Our chemistry matches the lifespan of premium LFP while providing a fundamentally non-combustible architecture.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use this as a drop-in replacement for my current motor starting battery? +
Yes. The Naionics sodium-ion battery uses standard automotive terminals and fits DIN/BCI standard dimensions. Its wide working voltage range of 8V-16V provides compatibility with nearly all market alternators.
Can I directly replace my lead-acid or lithium batteries with Naionics sodium-ion batteries in my camper/boat/off-grid system? +
Yes, with some considerations. Naionics sodium-ion batteries operate within a wide voltage range (8V-16V), which offers two key advantages: High Compatibility. They work with most existing chargers and accessories already installed on your camper or boat without the risk of BMS lockouts that occur with lithium batteries (which require strict voltage limits to avoid shutdowns). One Trade-off. Because of this wide voltage range, you may not be able to utilize 100% of the battery's capacity in all systems. Some existing equipment won't trigger the full charge cycle.
How does this perform in sub-zero climates compared to lead-acid? +
Lead-acid batteries lose 30-50% capacity at -20°C and fail entirely at -40°C. Lithium batteries lose 30-40% capacity at -20°C. The Naionics retains ~95% capacity and remains fully operational at -40°C. This is the defining advantage for northern climates, Arctic operations, and cold-climate industrial deployment.
What is the warranty coverage and what is excluded? +
Full 5-year B2B warranty covering manufacturing defects, material failure, and workmanship. Excluded: physical damage from accidents, improper charging voltage (>15.6V), exposure to extreme external temperatures beyond -50°C, and non-OEM modifications. Full warranty terms available in the technical documentation.
What charging equipment do I need? +
The Naionics sodium-ion battery is fully compatible with standard automotive charging systems (alternators, OEM chargers). No modifications required. We recommend charging voltage limit of 15.6V (standard). High-frequency chargers and lithium-specific chargers are NOT required. Always verify with our technical team for custom charging scenarios.
What is the lead time for bulk orders? +
Standard orders (1-50 units): 2-4 weeks. Bulk OEM orders (51+ units): 3-6 weeks with volume pricing. Custom configuration (white-label branding, specific certifications): 6-12 weeks. Contact our sales team for exact timeline based on your order specifications.
Do you ship worldwide? +
We ship worldwide directly from our production facility in China. Lead times vary depending on order volume and specifications. Standard deliveries typically range from 1-2 weeks for in-stock units, while custom OEM orders have longer lead times (3-12 weeks) depending on complexity and certification requirements. All shipments include international logistics support and full traceability.
How do I request a quotation? +
Requesting a quotation is simple. Click the button located at the top of every product page. Fill in your requirements—including quantity, specifications, and any custom specifications—and our sales team will respond with a detailed quote and technical recommendations tailored to your application.
I'm not sure which product or technology I need. What should I do? +
Book a Technical Consultation (100€). Our engineers analyze your application and recommend the optimal battery solution for you. The 100€ fee is 100% refundable as a credit toward your first purchase. Find the Consultation button in the site menu for details.
Are you Italian or Chinese? +
We are 100% Italian. LITIO STORE SRL is an Italian company specializing in green energy storage solutions for over 10 years. Our pre-sales and after-sales support teams are based in Italy—you speak directly with Italian professionals who understand your needs. We partner with a certified manufacturing facility in China where assembly, testing, certifications (UN38.3, CE, IEC/EN, UL), and shipping are handled. This dual-location model gives you Italian expertise with efficient global production.
Who pays import taxes and customs duties? +
All orders ship under DAP (Delivered At Place) terms. Our listed prices exclude local VAT and customs duties, which are collected by the carrier or your local customs authority at delivery. For VAT-registered businesses, import VAT is typically fully recoverable—it's not a final cost. Customs duties are deductible business expenses under your local tax regulations. We provide complete customs documentation for your tax filings.
Do you only sell sodium-ion batteries? +
No. We offer one of the most comprehensive green energy storage solutions on the market, including: Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4), Lithium Titanate, Sodium-Ion, Supercapacitors, and Solid-State & Semi-Solid-State Batteries. Each technology has different advantages depending on your application. We help you choose the right one.
